Well, yesterday afternoon I made an appointment for the little bugger. Daycare lady said he was a little 'off' all day and he's usually such a happy go lucky baby - she could tell something was bothering him too. She recommended having his ears checked JUST IN CASE. She mentioned all babies handle health issues differently so perhaps he's not one to get a fever or anything. So I made an appointment. He had a great time at bowling last night though. Fell asleep by 8:30ish. Got him home and nestled into his cozy bed and he woke around 11:30pm. Jeff went in and gave him his nuk and he was out. Didn't wake up until 5am because both his legs had gone through the bars of the crib! Poor guy was trapped! So Jeff pulled him out and he went back to sleep. He slept until 8! (His normal wake up time is 6:30 no matter what time he goes to bed) so this was a treat! He was pretty much back on track with his 10+ hour sleeping schedule and then added a couple hours this morning - JUST for kicks I guess? LOL! Mom and Dad feel rested once again! Whew! So hopefully whatever was bugging him is over now. (Keepin' the fingers crossed)
So took him to the doc and he checked out just fine. No ear infection, no mucus or anything fun in his lungs - he's all good!
But the boy is STILL growin' like a weed!

He's now 19 lbs 12 oz, and 28 1/2 inches! Gonna be a tall one!
Dang! He IS a big boy! He almost as big as Olivia! LOL!
ReplyDeleteso glad he seems to be over the hump! i think it was the day after you first posted about his teething/sleeping issue that q suddenly fell victim, too (but to molars, this time). it must be the moon! bringing all the teeth out. let's hope it passes FAST. it sounds like sweet LT is certainly moving on. and YAY, big boy!!! love to hear how healthy he is. :) great job, mama!
